First of all, I'm living in east Oita-city in the suburbs (almost in the country). That's in Oita-prefecture, on the southernmost main island of Japan called Kyushu. Yeah, we're the one that gets all those typhoons!

Here's a photo of my home, before moving in (not my car). It looks MUCH more lived-in now, trust me ;)


And here's a photo to give you an idea of the area I live in. No, I'm not living in a jungle-clearing, but there's this great hill behind the house that gives you a view of the town. That IS the ocean right out there, but I'm pretty sure I live far enough inland to survive the *first* tsunami.

I'm going to be trying to get in touch with all my old friends, and let them know what I've been up to, where I've been, and where I'm GOING to be for the next few years! :)
